COVID-19 Advice

The Government guidance was updated yesterday, and please see below.

The guidance now states that if you have a high temperature or a new continuous cough, you should stay at home for seven days. If you or your child shows these symptoms and self-isolating yourself or your child, please call the school to let us know. This way, we can record the absence appropriately and as an authorised absence.

If your child presents in school with a high temperature or a new continuous cough, you will be called immediately and asked to pick your child up urgently.

The teachers are busy creating home learning advice and suggested activities should you isolate your child for seven days. Please ensure you phone the school office so that we can get that information to you.

If you are worried and would like to talk this through, please get in touch with the school office, and we will do our best to help.

Norman Gate Primary School

Norman Gate School is a primary school for children aged two and nine months – 11 with a moderate range of additional learning needs (MLD). We have approximately 98 children on roll in 9 classes, on average ten children per class, one teacher and usually two or three learning support assistants. This includes 18 part-time children in the nursery.
